The Sister Club was born from the deepest heartbreak of my life.

In 2017, I lost my beautiful younger sister, Ellie, to Non-Hodgkin lymphoma. She was just 23 years old.

Her illness came completely out of the blue. After her diagnosis, everything changed in an instant. Just a few weeks later, after spending six weeks in intensive care, she was gone.

Losing Ellie changed me forever.

She wasn't just my sister—she was my best friend, my biggest cheerleader and the person I imagined growing old alongside. When she died, I quickly realised that while there was support for many kinds of grief, sibling loss often felt overlooked. I found myself longing for a space where I didn't have to explain why losing a sister had left such an enormous hole in my life.

That space didn't exist.

So I decided to create it.

The Sister Club is a community built from love, loss and the belief that no one should have to navigate sibling grief alone. It's a place where women can come together to remember, to talk if they want to, to laugh, to cry, to create new friendships and to honour the people who will always be part of us.

Whether you lost your sibling recently or many years ago, your grief is valid, your story matters, and you will always be welcome here.
